Clients ask us to conduct Quik Research™ activities when they need specific information about a singular topic or subject matter. Secondary and desktop research typically involves searching and retrieving more in-depth information or entire custom reports.
Often, we’re asked what sources we use… the answer is there is no one singular good source, it is only through using a wide combination of fee-based information providers, our internal library & information center, domestic & international research and information centers, that the most comprehensive search can be executed and retrieved. And yes, we use the Internet too, but our experience is that less than 5% of the available universe of information is presently on the “Net”… let’s face it, if it's free, you often get what you pay for.
Frequently clients come to us either having used the Internet or some fee-based provider, to say they can’t find what they need… it’s not unusual. At JTF our expertise with diverse information database systems means that we can regularly uncover the desired data by trying other search strategies or combinations of information providers, achieving results where our clients have encountered a dead end.
